There is nothing I love more than talented, powerful, unapologetic women telling the world they are just that. These songs have me strutting when I walk and holding my head extra high because they make me feel like the whole world is in the palm of my hands.
Whether I am on my way to an exam, an interview for a new story I’m writing, or just simply feeling myself, this is exactly the type of playlist I would listen to. This month, I have been going through a musical dry spell, so I returned to songs that I am very familiar with. I love making conceptual playlists that have a theme when I’m feeling really extra. Every month, I find myself searching for new music and creating a new playlist to represent a new month and how I’m feeling or wanting to feel.
